Well, another week has gone by and I have not had a chance to update my blog. Today, I said it’s a must as I have so much to tell you about.
I belong to the NJ Modern Quilt Guild which has a member listing of over 50 people. I joined this group back in March, and have enjoyed our monthly meetings. It’s really a mix of modern and traditional depending on what people are doing. I have never been traditional so I’m finding the modern quilting more exciting, as it involves simple lines using a lot of negative space.
During this meeting we talk about quilting stuff, but also have a “Show and Tell” segment, where anyone can share project/projects they’re working on. Last month I participated in a “Challenge” using 3 print fabrics from “Cloud 9“, + solid white.
Those who participated had to present one block with measurements of 12.5” on 2 sides, and the other 2 sides with your chose of measurements. Here is what my block looked like.

Please let me know if you receive this blog post. I'm having an issue right now.
